In between elections, the Constituency Finder will show you the Deputies for your constituency of residence and the Constable who heads up your parish.
In the lead up to an election, the Constituency Finder will give you a list of the election candidates you are eligible to vote for based on where you live.
Jersey is currently divided into 9 constituencies based on population size. Each constituency has roughly one Deputy per 3,000 residents. This means that you have between 3-5 Deputies representing your constituency, depending on where you live.
In the 2026 elections, eligible voters will be able to vote for 3 different types of States Member. Following a decision by the States Assembly in March 2025, it will be possible to vote for Senators who represent the entire Island, Deputies who represent your constituency, and Constables who represent your Parish. Constituency Finder
Everyone living in Jersey has both a Parish of residence and an electoral constituency. When there is an election you can vote for the person you want as Constable to head up your Parish. You also vote for the Deputies who will represent your constituency. Jersey is divided into 9 constituencies based on population size. Each constituency has roughly one Deputy per 3,000 residents. This means that you have between 3-5 Deputies representing your constituency, depending on where you live.
Use the Constituency Finder to confirm which constituency you live in. In between elections, it will tell you who your Parish Constable and your constituency Deputies are. Immediately before an election, it will show the candidates standing for election in your constituency and Parish of residence.
